Golden Ten Data reported on March 23 that analysts from the research department of DBS Group pointed out in a report that, as conflicts in the Middle East persist, further increasing investment in Asian oil alternatives could be a risky move. They indicated that if the conflict continues for an extended period, oil prices may remain above $100 per barrel for a long time, and there is even the possibility of rising to $150 or higher over the next two quarters. The analysts believe that the volatility in crude oil prices makes it difficult to assess stock values based on oil prices of $90 to $100 per barrel, a challenge echoed in the relatively flat performance of global oil giant stocks. They recommend continuing to invest in upstream and integrated oil company stocks but also warn that significantly increasing positions further could entail risks.

According to reports, since the middle of last week, Saudi Arabia has sold approximately 100 million barrels of crude oil to China, India, Japan, and South Korea, with delivery periods covering October and November. At the same time, Saudi Aramco has made a rare commitment in these transactions to handle logistics and transportation, delivering the crude oil directly to Asian customers. Previously, due to soaring oil prices, Asian refineries had been considering reducing operating rates. This large-scale supply has to some extent mitigated the supply risks faced by Asia.
