Cango releases 2025 financial report: Revenue and computing power both increase, with deleveraging and AI transformation driving new growth trajectory
BlockBeats News, March 23, according to official sources, US-listed mining company Cango Inc. (NYSE: CANG) released its Q4 and full-year 2025 results, showing steady growth in its first year of transformation. The total annual revenue reached $688 million, with Bitcoin output of 6,594.6 BTC; in Q4, revenue was $179 million with 1,718.3 BTC produced. The company achieved positive EBITDA for the year, with its core mining business operating healthily and an average hash rate efficiency of 90.3%. The net loss reported in the financials was mainly due to non-recurring and non-cash items, including a one-time book loss from the divestiture of its China business, as well as a revaluation of equity acquisition consideration due to share price increases, which does not reflect a deterioration in the core business.
In terms of financial strategy, Cango proactively advanced "deleveraging" measures to strengthen its balance sheet. In February, the company strategically sold 4,451 BTC, raising approximately $305 million in cash, which was fully used to repay Bitcoin-collateralized loans, significantly reducing financial risk and improving liquidity. At the same time, the company expects to receive a total of about $75.5 million in new capital injections, including completed shareholder capital increases and financial support from the chairman and directors, demonstrating management and core shareholders’ strong confidence in the company’s long-term development.
In terms of business transformation, Cango is accelerating its deployment of AI computing infrastructure to build a "second growth curve." The company has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, EcoHash Technology LLC, in Dallas, Texas, USA, focusing on high-performance computing and AI inference businesses. Former Zoom Head of Infrastructure Jack Jin has been appointed as CTO of the AI business. Currently, the company is focusing on the "long-tail inference market," with its modular GPU computing units having reached the deliverable stage. The demo project has achieved breakeven, and the business model has been preliminarily validated. Going forward, Cango plans to transition from a single mining operator to an "ecosystem enabler," promoting the upgrade of global small and midsize mines into distributed AI computing nodes.

According to reports, since the middle of last week, Saudi Arabia has sold approximately 100 million barrels of crude oil to China, India, Japan, and South Korea, with delivery periods covering October and November. At the same time, Saudi Aramco has made a rare commitment in these transactions to handle logistics and transportation, delivering the crude oil directly to Asian customers. Previously, due to soaring oil prices, Asian refineries had been considering reducing operating rates. This large-scale supply has to some extent mitigated the supply risks faced by Asia.
