According to BlockBeats, on March 23, at around 7 p.m. tonight, Trump stated, "The United States and Iran have held productive discussions" in hopes of ending the Iran war. Within minutes, the S&P 500 index surged by 240 points, with its market capitalization increasing by $2 trillion.
Twenty-seven minutes later, Iran completely denied all of Trump's claims and stated there was "no contact" with the United States. By 8 p.m., the S&P 500 index had dropped 120 points, with its market capitalization shrinking by $1 trillion.
