Bloomberg Dollar Index fell by 0.50% to 1,204.88 points, with an intraday trading range of 1,217.41–1,202.47 points. USD/JPY fell by 0.56% to 158.34 yen, with an intraday trading range of 159.6–158.02 yen. At 14:20 (UTC+8), it hit a daily high, then at 19:05 (UTC+8) it plummeted from near its daily high to around 158.20 yen. EUR/JPY fell by 0.17% to 183.92 yen; GBP/JPY rose by 0.16% to 212.764 yen.
