Citadel Securities strategist Frank Flight pointed out that the slowdown in economic activity and the transition of "demand destruction" may provide support for long-term inflation-protected securities (TIPS). The strategist warned that even if the situation cools down, some lasting damage caused to global supply chains by the turmoil in the oil market cannot be reversed.
