Multicoin Promotes Spencer and Shayon to Partners, Co-Leads Investment Team
BlockBeats News, March 24th, according to an official announcement, Multicoin Capital announced that Spencer Applebaum and Shayon Sengupta have been promoted to Partners and will jointly serve as Investment Principals at Multicoin Capital.
Over the past few years, both have taken on increasing responsibility across all aspects of the business. Not only have they consistently identified, originated, and led investments at a higher frequency, but they have also gradually taken on greater leadership in Multicoin's strategic, operational, and long-term directional decisions. Spencer and Shayon both joined the fund early — having each been with the firm for over eight and five years, respectively.
