CEO of Bitcoin ATM operator resigns amid growing regulatory pressure
According to ChainCatcher, Bitcoin ATM operator CEO Scott Buchanan has resigned, and former MoneyGram CEO Alex Holmes has assumed the roles of CEO and Chairman. Holmes stated that his focus will be on "operational stability, regulatory compliance progress," as well as driving the company's transformation into a diversified fintech platform. Holmes served as MoneyGram's CEO and Chairman from 2016 to 2024, with over 16 years of executive experience in the payments industry.
