I-ON Digital partners with Instruxi and RAAC for gold-backed tokenization
I-ON Digital Corp. (IONI) announced a partnership with Instruxi and RAAC to develop infrastructure linking gold-backed assets with blockchain-based liquidity markets, according to a company press release.
The partnership centers on three components: digitized gold-backed assets called IONau, a stablecoin named pmUSD backed by these assets, and deployment across decentralized finance protocols for liquidity generation.
I-ON Digital describes IONau as gold exposure structured into blockchain-compatible financial instruments designed to align with traditional secured asset frameworks. The pmUSD stablecoin is issued using these gold-backed assets as collateral and deployed in decentralized liquidity pools.
The Chicago-based company operates as a digital asset infrastructure firm focused on real-world asset tokenization and regulated gold-backed digital instruments. I-ON Digital trades on the OTCQB market under ticker IONI.
The partnership represents the company’s approach to connecting traditional finance systems with decentralized finance protocols through asset tokenization. The model aims to provide continuous liquidity and capital deployment through established decentralized finance platforms.
I-ON Digital’s business model involves digitizing, tokenizing and distributing physical assets within what it describes as compliant, treasury-grade frameworks for institutional clients.
