At the Connect conference, Meta launched two AI game creation tools, Horizon Create and Horizon Studio, allowing users to generate complete 2D/3D games—including level design and multiplayer features—simply through text descriptions, and directly distribute them to platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. The news led to a 4.5% increase in Meta’s stock price, while gaming stocks Roblox and Unity Software saw declines of up to 4.1% and 6.9%, respectively.
