Ripple CEO: CLARITY Act May Be Delayed Until May, About $4 Billion Has Been Invested in the Crypto Ecosystem
According to ChainCatcher, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse stated that, driven by mergers and acquisitions, the company expects to achieve a record-breaking first quarter. He also mentioned that Ripple has invested approximately $4 billion into the crypto ecosystem, including a $1.25 billion acquisition of Hidden Road and an approximately $1 billion acquisition of GTreasury.
He also pointed out that progress on US digital asset legislation is slower than expected, with the CLARITY Act possibly being postponed from the originally planned April launch to May. He called for regulation to avoid being excessively politicized in a way that affects the industry's development.
