Ernst & Young launches blockchain privacy sandbox to lower the barrier for enterprises to develop ZK privacy contracts
PANews, March 29 – According to a report from Prnewswire, Ernst & Young (EY) has announced the launch of the EY Blockchain Privacy Sandbox, providing enterprises and developers with a web-based development environment for building and testing privacy-protecting smart contracts on EVM-compatible public blockchains. The sandbox utilizes the open-source zero-knowledge proof compiler Starlight, allowing Solidity contracts to be converted into privacy applications without a local environment, and provides sample projects to accelerate validation and development, significantly lowering the threshold for enterprise privacy technology experimentation. EY’s Global Blockchain Leader stated that this move aims to allow enterprises to effectively validate the feasibility of privacy applications before large-scale deployment, promoting the widespread adoption of privacy innovation.
