Foresight News reports that the cross-chain liquidity distribution network StakeStone has announced the official launch of the QR code payment feature for its Stone Wallet. This feature integrates with existing QR code payment infrastructures in the Asia-Pacific region, aiming to lower the barriers to crypto payments.
Stone Wallet adopts a "zero-fee" model, including waivers for account opening fees, annual fees, gas fees, and transaction fees, primarily targeting retail users and groups underserved by traditional financial services. StakeStone stated that Stone Wallet is the first crypto product to integrate with the Singapore PayNow system. In addition, the service supports major payment standards such as Thailand's PromptPay and Cambodia's Bakong, and is already in use across more than 10 countries and regions including Vietnam, Laos, the Philippines, and Mongolia.
