Neutron announces that NTRN redemption is now live, with the deposit window open until April 30.
BlockBeats news, on April 1, Cosmos ecosystem project Neutron announced that NTRN redemption is now live. Holders can permanently burn their NTRN to receive a proportional share from the USDC pool. The NTRN deposit window is open from April 1 to April 30. USDC redemption requests will open on May 1 and close on June 30. The NTRN held by the foundation (estimated at about 32.4 million tokens) will not participate in redemption and will be burned.
Earlier, it was reported that Cosmos ecosystem project Neutron announced it would transition to a long-term maintenance mode. The DEX and Supervault will be suspended and enter withdrawal-only mode no later than April 17. Hadron Labs will be responsible for network maintenance until June 30, 2026, after which manual withdrawal guidelines will be released. Governance will transition from a custom system to the standard Cosmos staking model, inflation will be dynamically adjusted, and the set of validators will be reduced.
