Glonghui, April 2 — VIX index futures surged more than 5%, now at 25.81 points. In recent developments, Trump threatened in his latest speech that if no agreement is reached, the United States will strike Iran's power plants and push Iran "back to the Stone Age," indicating that the situation may further escalate.
