This potential bond issuance comes just about a week after its disclosure of plans to invest approximately 300 billion yen (about 1.8 billion USD) in Tokio Marine Holdings. According to informed sources, Berkshire plans to issue bonds covering seven different maturities, ranging from 3 to 30 years, and may finalize pricing as early as April 10. A day earlier, it was reported that Berkshire had commissioned Mizuho Securities and BofA Securities to prepare a potential benchmark-sized yen bond issuance.
