According to DefiLlama data, on-chain perpetual contract trading volume has declined for five consecutive months since its peak of 1.36 trillion USD in October 2025, dropping to 699 billion USD in March 2026. On April 4, the single-day trading volume was 8.4 billion USD, marking a new low since July 2025. Over the past 30 days, Hyperliquid’s trading volume was around 185.5 billion USD, accounting for about 34% of the total among the top ten platforms.
