On Predict, "Polymarket Token’s First-Day FDV" Drops Across the Board Amid Settlement Rule Controversy
Odaily reports that on Predict, the "Polymarket token FDV on day one" market saw a full decline. Currently, the probability of the FDV exceeding 2 billion USD is 13%, and the probability of exceeding 10 billion USD is 6%.
The official settlement states: "If, 1 day after the token issuance, Polymarket's token FDV is higher than the specified value, the market will settle as Yes."
Today, Polymarket announced a comprehensive upgrade to its trading engine and the launch of its native stablecoin Polymarket USD, which is also considered Polymarket issuing a token. This has led to significant fluctuations in the probabilities of related events on Predict.
