To stabilize oil prices, Vietnam extends fuel tax exemption policy until the end of June

According to a statement from the Office of the National Assembly of Vietnam, the National Assembly has passed a resolution to continue suspending environmental protection tax and special consumption tax on fuel consumption. The Vietnamese government previously announced a suspension from March 27 to April 15 of the environmental protection tax on gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel, as well as the special consumption tax on gasoline. The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam stated that this will reduce national fiscal revenue by 7.2 trillion Vietnamese dong per month.
