Jinse Finance reported that on April 13, Windward released its April 12 Iran War Maritime Intelligence Daily Report, which shows that 172 crude oil tankers are currently heading to the U.S. Gulf Coast, reflecting significant changes in global crude oil flows. Windward's early detection analysis indicates that the number of tankers arriving via the northern corridor from Europe increased by 46%, while the number arriving via the southern corridor from Asia and the Gulf region rose by 132%. This shift suggests that, amid instability in the Strait of Hormuz, global crude oil flows are undergoing a broader rebalancing toward the United States, which is seen as an anchor for stable pricing and exports.
