Golden Ten Data reported on April 14 that SK Hynix plans to reduce this year's shipments of sixth-generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM4) to NVIDIA by about 20% to 30% from the original plan. Industry insiders speculate that this may be due to mass production challenges with NVIDIA Vera Rubin. It is reported that SK Hynix will increase shipments of HBM3E or other server-grade LPDDR, and overall memory demand has not decreased.
