Glonghui April 15th|US private equity giant KKR announced that it will invest 1.22 trillion KRW (approximately 820 million USD) in Samsung SDS through the acquisition of convertible bonds. According to the cooperation agreement, KKR will work closely with Samsung SDS through its managed funds on a series of initiatives aimed at creating value for the company, including supporting organic and inorganic growth strategies, accelerating the expansion of the company as a full-stack AI solutions provider, and exploring new business areas. KKR will also actively provide consulting services to the Samsung SDS management team, particularly in terms of mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and supporting the company in seeking global strategic growth opportunities.
