Crypto fund manager McCann under investigation in Zanzibar, fiancée suspected of suicide
Foresight News reports, according to CoinDesk, that crypto fund manager McCann is under investigation in Zanzibar and his fiancée is suspected to have died by suicide. Currently, McCann's passport has been confiscated, and he has been required to remain in the country awaiting the results of the forensic autopsy. It is noteworthy that McCann's Liquid Alpha fund, which suffered a loss of up to 78% in 2025, was liquidated last December.
According to hotel staff, the couple had an argument and were separated afterwards. Although the police have confirmed that his fiancée died by suicide, they stated that they are still investigating the cause of her death.
