In terms of sectors, seven out of the eleven S&P 500 Index sectors rose while four fell. The energy sector and real estate sector led the gains with increases of 1.55% and 1.01% respectively, while the healthcare sector and industrial sector posted the largest declines with decreases of 0.77% and 0.49% respectively.
