Golden Ten Data reported on April 17 that a Greek shipowner crossed the Strait of Hormuz several times during the Iran war and recently dispatched its largest supertanker. Data shows that the "Atokos" (with a capacity of about 2 million barrels) sent out a location signal in the Indian Ocean on Friday, suggesting that its transponder was turned off while passing through the Strait. The vessel is operated by Dinacon Tankers Management, and its passage has brought the company's total transported volume to 6.5 million barrels, making it the largest non-Iranian shipping operator in the strait.
