According to the official announcement, after the price adjustment: the retail price of gasoline is 135 Taka per liter, previously 116 Taka; diesel is 115 Taka per liter, and kerosene is 130 Taka per liter. Relevant officials stated that this price adjustment was unavoidable. In recent weeks, international crude oil prices have surged, supply chain disruptions have occurred, and rising shipping and insurance costs have significantly increased fuel import costs. Especially since the outbreak of the Iran conflict seven weeks ago, oil prices have soared, further intensifying domestic pressure.
