SBI Chiliz signs memorandum of understanding with Tokyo Verdy to explore the Japanese fan token economy
Foresight News reports that SBI Chiliz (a joint venture between Chiliz Group and SBI Holdings) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Japanese professional football club Tokyo Verdy. The two parties will jointly explore the feasibility of fan tokens in Japan. This collaboration will focus on introducing fan token use cases such as fan voting, digital collectibles, and participation rewards through educational content and fan activities, while also developing operational and compliance frameworks that meet regulatory requirements for the Japanese market.
