Core Scientific plans to raise $3.3 billion through a junk bond offering
BlockBeats news, on April 21, according to Bloomberg, Core Scientific Inc. is planning to raise 3.3 billion USD by issuing junk bonds, joining a wave of high-yield issuers that are using the debt market to finance artificial intelligence infrastructure.
According to a person with direct knowledge of the matter, the company is developing six data center facilities, all of which are contracted to CoreWeave Inc. under a 12-year agreement, expected to generate about 10 billion USD in revenue.
