UK startup Stratiphy will allow UK investors to hold cryptocurrencies in Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs)
Foresight News reports, according to the Financial Times, that UK-based startup Stratiphy will simultaneously offer cryptocurrency Exchange Traded Notes (ETN) and Innovative Finance ISA (IF ISA), allowing investors to hold crypto assets within a capital gains tax-free account. Stratiphy provides three ETNs issued by Europe's largest crypto ETP issuer 21Shares, respectively tracking Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a Bitcoin-Gold combination product. The platform currently manages about £4 million in assets and serves approximately 2,000 clients.
In October last year, the UK Financial Conduct Authority lifted a four-year ban on retail investors purchasing Exchange Traded Notes (ETN).
