UBS warns: $80 per barrel oil prices may become the new normal
According to Jinse Finance, on April 22, UBS pointed out that even if the Strait reopens, concerns about energy security and the need for countries to rebuild inventories will make it difficult to avoid structurally high oil prices. Compared to the mid-range oil price of $60 per barrel before the outbreak of war, even in the most ideal scenario, oil prices in the future can only stabilize at around $80 per barrel.
