Aurise Foundation launches XAUE, providing yield-bearing treasury features for Tether Gold
ChainCatcher reports that Aurise Foundation has launched the interest-bearing gold token XAUE on Ethereum, aiming to serve as the interest-bearing treasury for Tether Gold (XAU₮). XAUE targets compliant institutional participants and introduces crypto-native yield to traditional non-interest-bearing gold through quantitative strategies and institutional lending, transforming it into a programmable and capital-efficient on-chain asset.
Currently, ecosystem partners Aurelion and Antalpha have jointly contributed 16,052 XAU₮ (approximately $76 million) to XAUE. The protocol adopts an exchange rate growth model, with the gold value anchored for each XAUE increasing as yields accrue, and will be integrated with more decentralized finance protocols such as DEXs in the future.
