Infographic: The Crypto Portfolio of Federal Reserve Chairman Nominee Kevin Warsh
According to ChainCatcher, the Web3 asset data platform RootData has compiled the crypto investment portfolio of the Federal Reserve’s Chairman-designate Kevin Warsh, which spans multiple fields including blockchain infrastructure, on-chain financial protocols, institutional financial services, and application tools. Structurally, Warsh’s layout can be divided into four major segments:
- Underlying Infrastructure: Networks and scaling solutions such as Solana, Optimism, Lightning Network;
- On-chain Finance: DeFi and trading protocols such as Compound, dYdX, Polymarket;
- Institutional and Financial Services: Asset management, banking, and capital channel projects such as Polychain, Scalar Capital, Kinetic, OnJuno;
- Applications and Tools: User gateways and development tool projects such as Dapper Labs, Crossmint, Tenderly.
Overall, Warsh overlays financial protocols on top of infrastructure and emphasizes controlling institutional capital entry. This investment path differs significantly from typical crypto-native venture capital approaches, and is more aligned with traditional financial investors’ focus on market structure and institutional layers.
Reportedly, on April 21, Warsh attended a confirmation hearing before the Senate Banking Committee. According to his recent compliance disclosure documents, if he enters the regulatory system (such as heading the Federal Reserve), he will be required to dispose of related holdings.
