The rsETH incident has resulted in a gap of approximately 68,900 ETH, with multiple parties having donated 13,500 ETH so far.
According to Odaily, crypto analyst Ember (@EmberCN) has monitored that the rsETH incident has currently resulted in a shortfall of approximately 68,900 ETH, worth around $160 million. This gap was formed after the attacker used rsETH as collateral to borrow 99,600 ETH, reduced by the 30,700 ETH frozen and recovered by Arbitrum.
Currently, the related ETH has been converted to BTC, and the incident has entered the aftermath stage. Aave is coordinating the establishment of “DeFi United” for fund recovery, with multiple parties having already provided about 13,500 ETH in support, including 2,500 stETH from Lido, 5,000 ETH from ether.fi, 5,000 ETH from Aave founder Stani Kulechov, and 1,000 ETH from Golem Foundation. Some other institutions have not disclosed specific amounts.
