The British pound rose 0.47% against the US dollar to 1.3530, climbing smoothly and steadily since 12:00 (UTC+8) and posting a cumulative gain of 0.12% for the week. The US dollar fell 0.15% against the Swiss franc to 0.7852, with a cumulative gain of 0.50% this week. Among commodity currencies, the Australian dollar rose 0.31% against the US dollar to 0.7151, posting a cumulative loss of 0.32% this week; the New Zealand dollar rose 0.46% against the US dollar to 0.5881, with a cumulative loss of 0.03% this week; the US dollar fell 0.26% against the Canadian dollar to 1.3665, registering a cumulative loss of 0.20% this week.
