Renowned trader: Predicts bitcoin’s bottom in this cycle should be at $42,680
BlockBeats reported on April 25 that well-known trader Killa (@KillaXBT) stated he accurately predicted the Bitcoin peak last year (forecasted $121,362, actual $126,100).
Based on this, Killa used the same diminishing cycle and pattern recognition model to estimate that the Bitcoin baseline bottom this cycle should be at $38,800. However, considering a 5% deviation, he expects the bottom to occur between $40,740 and $42,680. Killa reiterated that the current price will not be the bottom under any circumstances, saying “I will buy as much spot as possible around July/August.”
Killa, a quantitative trader focused on BTC, previously predicted the top of this bull market in May 2025. He has over 180,000 followers on platform X. In mid-April, he shorted Bitcoin at $74,688 and is currently at a floating loss.

Volkswagen plunges! Profit forecast for 2026 significantly lowered, Porsche writes down €6 billion
Volkswagen expects the Group's operating sales return in 2026 to reach a maximum of only 1%, far below the previously projected 4% to 5.5%. The company anticipates that special items will impact full-year operating profit by about 10 billion euros, with around 6 billion euros attributable to non-cash impairments of goodwill in Porsche's operations. Increased competitiveness from Chinese automakers and accelerated consumer demand shift toward pure electric vehicles are also significant pressures facing Volkswagen. As a result of this news, Volkswagen's share price closed down 5.6% on Friday.
