Aave will vote on whether to suspend token buybacks to prioritize addressing the rsETH issue
According to Odaily, the Snapshot page shows that Aave ecosystem service provider TokenLogic has initiated a governance proposal on "whether to suspend AAVE buybacks." The proposal suggests suspending the AAVE buyback program until the circumstances surrounding the rsETH incident become clear, and the resumption time will be evaluated separately.
The voting will begin tomorrow (April 28) and will end on May 1.
