Research firm 10x stated that the negative funding rate in BTC perpetual futures reflects structural institutional hedging, rather than overall bearish sentiment. This month, Bitcoin rose by 14%, marking its strongest monthly increase since April 2025, but hedge funds manage other investments by shorting futures.
