Brent oil briefly surged, erasing its losses for the month; a major short whale on-chain was liquidated for $2.75 million.
ChainCatcher reports, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, in the past hour, Brent crude oil futures surged during the US pre-market session, with highs reaching $108. On the Hyperliquid platform, BRENTOIL saw a 24-hour increase of 3%, with its price basically recovering to the level before the sharp decline at the beginning of the month, and the recent gains have nearly recouped a month's worth of losses.
A BRENTOIL short position whale was repeatedly liquidated during this rally, with a total liquidation size reaching $2.75 million and recording a loss of around $250,000. This short position was opened on April 24. Address: 0xcb731784d07ce807cbc836b8e37b51c6ebf661e1.
