The Bloomberg Dollar Index rose by 0.40% to 1202.65 points, with an intraday trading range of 1196.91-1203.27 points, and also refreshed its daily high at 02:46 (UTC+8). The US dollar gained 0.51% against the Japanese yen, hitting a new daily high of 160.44 yen. Before 16:00 (UTC+8), it remained mostly stable around 159.60 yen, then continued to climb. The euro rose by 0.14% against the yen, while the British pound increased by 0.16% against the yen.
