Standard Chartered Group Reports $2.45 Billion Pre-Tax Profit in Q1, Exceeding Market Expectations
On April 30, Standard Chartered Group announced that, at constant exchange rates, the revenue growth for 2026 is expected to be at the lower end of the 5%-7% range. The operating income for the first quarter was $5.9 billion, compared to an estimate of $5.58 billion; the pre-tax profit for the first quarter was $2.45 billion, exceeding the estimate of $2.09 billion.
