BlackRock submitted a comment letter to the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, opposing the 20% cap on tokenized reserve assets. The company stated that this restriction is unrelated to the intended objectives and emphasized that risks depend on credit quality, duration, and liquidity, rather than whether assets are held or transferred on a distributed ledger.
