CoinDesk poll: Only 1% of U.S. voters consider cryptocurrency a top issue in the midterm elections

Foresight News reports that according to a survey commissioned by CoinDesk targeting 1,000 registered U.S. voters, only 1% of respondents ranked cryptocurrency as the most important issue in the 2026 U.S. midterm elections, making it one of the least prioritized topics among all concerns. In contrast, the cost of living (36%), jobs and the economy (13%), as well as Social Security and Medicare (11%) emerged as the top issues for voters. The survey also found that U.S. voters generally hold a rather negative view of cryptocurrencies, with only 27% of respondents indicating they have invested in, traded, or used cryptocurrencies, and another 27% stating they might participate in the future.
