Securitize approved to enable custodial and atomic settlement functions for tokenized securities
According to Foresight News, the RWA tokenization platform Securitize has received approval from the US Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, permitting its subsidiary Securitize Markets to custody tokenized securities at traditional broker-dealers. This enables the implementation of atomic transactions, as well as on-chain clearing and settlement of transactions between tokenized securities and stablecoins. Additionally, Securitize Markets is authorized to act as an underwriter and sales group participant in both initial and secondary tokenized securities offerings.
