According to Circle's announcement, on May 5, it submitted a statement of opinions to the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, putting forward six core points regarding the implementation details of the GENIUS Act. These include strengthening international trust in USD stablecoins, unifying payment instruments, consumer protection, a fair and competitive regulatory framework, systemic risk management, and distinguishing the regulatory approaches for stablecoins and tokenized deposits.
