52% of voters support crypto market structure legislation, key Senate vote expected next week
According to ChainCatcher, crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett revealed that, based on the latest U.S. poll, support for cryptocurrency market structure legislation crosses party lines, with 52% of voters supporting the bill and only 11% opposed. The "Cryptocurrency Market Structure Bill" (also known as the CLARITY Act) has received majority support from Democrats, Republicans, and independents, reflecting a broad demand among voters for clearer rules and strengthened consumer protections for digital assets, while also setting the stage for a key vote in the Senate Banking Committee next week.
