US stock market close: All three major indexes fell; Arm dropped 10%

Golden Ten Data, May 8 — At the close of trading on Thursday, U.S. stocks ended lower, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average provisionally down 0.63%, the S&P 500 Index down 0.38%, and the Nasdaq down 0.13%. Arm (ARM.O) fell 10%, Tesla (TSLA.O) rose 3%, and both Intel (INTC.O) and Micron Technology (MU.O) fell 3%. The China Golden Dragon Index on a certain exchange closed down 1.4%.
