Iran's state-run IRNA: Seized tanker was carrying Iranian oil
The Iranian army seized an oil tanker for “attempting to disrupt oil exports and the interests of the Iranian nation,” the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported. “Naval commandos of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, during a special operation, detained the violating oil tanker Ocean Koi,” Tasnim said. The agency published a video that appeared to show at least two small boats approaching a ship under darkness and armed men boarding the vessel and raising the Iranian flag. The report didn’t say where or when the seizure took place
