Bloomberg Analyst: Predicting ETF Delays Is Not a Fatal Bearish Signal
According to Odaily, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated on the X platform that prediction market ETFs were not launched as originally planned today, as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to further review the related products.
Eric Balchunas said that at present, the delay “is not a fatal issue,” and appears more like regulators wanting to perform additional checks on disclosure documents. He pointed out that these types of products are groundbreaking, and once approved and listed, will set an important regulatory precedent for prediction market ETFs. Therefore, it is understandable that the SEC wants to dedicate more time to review them.
