Glonghui, May 16 — Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast (VFS.O) announced plans to sell its two factories located in Vietnam. This move will help the company reduce about 182 trillion Vietnamese dong (USD 6.9 billion) in debt and related obligations, and could potentially accelerate its path to profitability. After completing the restructuring, VinFast will effectively achieve an almost debt-free status, retaining only a small amount of debt.
