Bitwise: 10% of BHYP's management fee will be used to increase holdings of HYPE
BlockBeats reported on May 18 that Bitwise Asset Management announced its Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF (BHYP) will allocate 10% of its management fee revenue to continuously holding HYPE on its balance sheet.
Bitwise stated that this mechanism resonates with the “community-first” token economic model of Hyperliquid, where approximately 99% of protocol revenue is used to buy back and burn HYPE, creating a closed-loop structure of “protocol growth—token value return.” Bitwise said this move aims to further strengthen the value connection between the ETF and the underlying protocol, aligning manager earnings with ecosystem growth.
