Golden Ten Data reported on May 21 that a research report from China Securities stated that global oil inventories are plummeting, intensifying energy shortage risks. The conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has obstructed passage through the Strait of Hormuz, causing a record-speed decline in global oil inventories and increasing the risk of energy shortages this summer. The market has relied temporarily on previous excess inventories, exemptions from Russian oil sanctions, and strategic petroleum reserve releases by multiple countries to buffer the pressure, while high oil prices have triggered a contraction in global oil demand. Currently, international oil prices are fluctuating at high levels; U.S. refined oil prices have hit multi-year highs, oil products in several energy-importing regions in Asia are facing imminent shortages, weighing on regional economic growth. Oil prices may still have significant room for increase, making the accelerated development of renewable energy a long-term strategy for countries to mitigate energy risks.

For the market, unless the issues of oil and interest rates are resolved, the AI narrative is "almost irrelevant."
